Events?

Are there any weekday events, or is the main one Sunday?

Due to needing a number of people to run the guild missions and the multi-region nature of SoF we run them on Sunday at 7pm server time to allow the most number of people to attend.

www.dulfy.net has a great run down on these missions and gw2 all together.

For server time, see the guild message of the day and you'll see instructions on how to set you in-game clock to server time.

It's not exactly "guild events" but we have been getting some groups during the week for living story shenanigans like Drytop or Silverwastes. We've also had a few smaller groups for things like monthly JP's and stuff if you're into that.

I'm not yet at cap so I think I'm locked out of the living story stuff until then.

TBH I preferred GW1's progression than GW2s - I loved the lack of a loot grind and having to continously upgrade my equipment as I played through the game.

It's not too bad if you gear every 15 levels. I haven't leveled a character since the April trait update but I used to level them by starting at level 20 gear and then every 15 levels (35,50,65, etc) these used to be the break points for new gear stats.

If you need anything crafted, look me up and I'll probably be able to help you out.

I never upgraded the gear until I reached 80 I would just take what dropped.

solo PvE though to get to 80 so I wasn't annoying anyone else.
