Wow! Now there's a blast from the past!

Hope all is good Ninez, been a very long time! Must be 5+ years plus!

Heck you joined this site 10 years ago and were finishing secondary school (or high school as our friends over the pond call it!) back then. You must be all grown up now!!! Makes me feel old!

Did you get to uni in the end? How are Fel and Lew? (Yes, I have a good memory! )

Nice to see you back here and hope you'll stick around

Ha, it would have been college at least!
Yup went to uni and passed after 5 years!

Studied in Multi-Media BsC Honours, lots of code, photography, Photoshop and even a hint of 3D animation (which I loved!)

Your only as old as the person you feel!. (/rubs himself)

Fel made it out of last year alive... and has even quit the ciggys! (she almost exploded like your SoF database did when I tried changing my profile details)

Lew, well hes still lew, except hes an anti gamer now "IM NOT INTO GAMES" ./moody stroppy voice /grin!

Keepin to the topic post anyway!

I have been on and off http://worldoftanks.eu/ for the past 4 years, which has been kinda amusing, however I was with out a computer for the past year! and so have been outta touch with my studies and playing!

Iv had a xbox and ps3 at Uni (and pc ofc) which was, pleasant. But ended up selling them for uhm.. beanz n student things.

Thank you Wesley for the account info!

Nice to hear from you again guys!

And yea ill stick around! only thing... would be nice to have emailed me, posted topics and replies etc, however I haven't checked the options on the forum yet, and prehapes the website does it already! But as you know, im not much for moaning..

Ahhh how I miss the Gw beta weekends! (its been a while since I bandaged my little mouse finger in a sock and used matchsticks on my eyes to stay awake)

Be great if I could get some company on either WoT or GTAV! (which is released on Tuesday woo)

Right back to trolling the other posts!

cheers mateys!

9z

Nice to see you back and glad things have gone well and that you went to uni. I know it was touch and go 10 yrs ago!

Never played World of Tanks. I'm still currently obsessed with The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth. For a 5 (on sale) / 300 MB game it has insane replayability and depth to it.

Don't think the website does those options. Not sure. We talked about upgrading the website some years ago... but then stuck with what we have

GTAV looks good. I've never owned/properly played a GTA game (yeh, where have I been right??!) but from what I've seen/read online, it does look good.

Hopefully Wes can un-retire you. Am sure he can

Bloodborne is rather good; more streamlined than Dark or Demons souls, and combat is faster.

If you liked Dark Souls II, Scholar of the First Sin is a good upgrade and changes things up enough to make the game feel fresh. If you didn't like DS2 it probably won't address your concerns.

Some Beta keys for Blizzard's MOBA Heroes of the Storm have come my way. If anyone would like one let me know. I have Four available I think.

Can highly recommend Skullgirls if you like fighting games. Currently on offer for a mere 2.49 (down from 9.49) for next 48 hours. Great game and great art.

Skullgirls is a fast-paced 2-D fighting game that puts players in control of fierce warriors in an extraordinary Dark Deco world. Featuring all-new game systems which test the skills of veteran fighting game fans while also making the genre enjoyable and accessible to newcomers, Skullgirls is a modern take on classic arcade fighters with a hand-drawn high-definition twist. It is a one-of-a-kind, action-packed competition complete with awesome combos and an intriguing backstory.

witcher 3
this game lived up to it's hype. The concept of storytelling by a main story arch that has several side-branches was a pleasant hype. Great storyline, long playtime (43 hours till i completed the game and several side branches). Would recommend playing Witcher 2 before 2 to be in tune with the overal story arc.

rated 9/10

Sherlock Holmes - Crimes and Punishments
Game comparable to The Wolf Among Us.
Has not one case to solve, but a couple seperate ones.
Point and Click investigation game, enjoyed the variety of puzzles.
rated 8/10

Sniper Elite 3
interesting concept, but could not finish thegame. too repetitive.
4/10

Have you already backed up this at Kickstarter?

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects...ned/battletech

Batteltech is a single-player, turn-based, tactical 'Mech combat game for PC. (And Mac and Linux!) The game may also include PVP multiplayer if enough funding is reached.

The project is led by:
  • Jordan Weisman, the creator of BattleTech and MechWarrior, Shadowrun, Crimson Skies, and more.
  • Mike McCain, the Creative Director of Harebrained Schemes' critically-acclaimed series of Shadowrun games.
  • Mitch Gitelman, the Producer of the classic MechCommander series of tactical 'Mech combat games.
It has collected 615k in pledges in first 4 hours. 34 days and 20 hours still to go, the projects is funded 240% already .

All systems nominal.

Currently playing:
rocket league
fun game, for sure worth it's money.
i find it has decent replay value. easy to learn, difficult to master.
that always makes for an interesting game.

8/10

tales of the borderlands
telltale game in the lineage of the wolf among us.
i didn't particulary enjoy borderlands, but did enjoy this spin off.
a bit of a lame ending didn't prevent the overall feeling that this is a good game.
7/10

hearthstone
I'm still going strong in the arena.
Everyone get in here!

LoL
recently been playing a bit of the old love

on the short list:
- life is strange
- overwatch
- final chapter of Game of Thrones
