Mmmmm, Operation Flashpoint !
I played that game a lot after I got back from the army (took me some time to get back to being a normal civilian). Very realistic and very good. Shame I never played it online

I've now officially started playing Okami, and it's much better than I had initially expected it to be (even with my high expectations). It's not a very serious game of the Final Fantasy-type that I usually go for in my RPGs, but it's very good nonetheless. The game is less about leveling up your character and more about creative puzzle solving with the powers you have. Since these powers are performed through drawing with a brush (like the second screen shot Cloud posted earlier) there can be quite a nice depth to the gameplay.

I'd highly suggeset picking it up to all of you with a PS2. ...of course, this means I'm once again somewhat side-tracked from GW...

Guitar Hero 2.

Though the 360 version is delayed into sometime next year, so I may just hold off for it.

Awesomest party game in a long time, and 2 should have more multiplayer options (as well as some insane songs). For those unaware, Guitar Hero is kinda like Dance Dance Revolution... with a (wait for it)...guitar.

Does anyone know if they plan on releasing Saint's Row on the PC? That game makes me get all excited everytime I see it on a TV commercial. Fortunately I have not lost all my marbles yet and went out to pick up a 360

Consoles are getting more and more expensive, so unless there are any great games coming out for PS2 (which I already own) I think I will stick to the computer

Im looking forward to FFXII, but since it comes out so close after nightfall, I'm going to hold off getting it for awhile, maybe a few months hehe.

Im kind of looking forward to the new superman returns game, if its anything like spiderman 2, the free-roaming, open city to explore, it could be really amazing.

Final fantasy 5 for the GBA, cant wait for that .

The main one is obviously Nightfall, i seriously cant wait for this, so excited to get my paragon rolling, I think paragons will really shift the metagame! also the heros are great, overall seems to be a huge game

OK, so those of you that have gotten NwN2 - what do you think?

I told myself I'd get it if it got over a 9 at Gamespot, and it got an 8.6 (Nightfall got an 8.2). So now I'm waffling. I wasn't too impressed with the gameplay movies I saw - it looked a bit clunky. I'm looking for anecdotal reports.

GH2 ftw

Picked it up last week, and it lived up to all expectations . 2-player co-op mode is awesome, and the expanded character and set lists are really cool. Only gripe I have is the number of recognizable songs on there isn't up to par with the first game, though that might just be me.

@Beqx - Wish I could tell ya bro but I don't open that box until Christmas day... or I'm a dead man! Hopefully Ardeo and Rob#2 can give you some details about it (of which I'll eventually read so don't spoil it!!!).

@ Beqx - Well, I've been playing though the single player NWN2 campaign a bit as my barbarian Brock Samson (Venture Bros. Rules!!) and I don't find it too clunky really. It took some getting used to since the movement and camera controls are different, at least I have them set differently, but it's not too bad. The better your graphics card the easier it will run, though. There are some aspects I like less than GW, like the difficult map travel and it's definitely not as easy to tab/space attack or anything, but there are some better things, too. For instance, you have a ton of room in your inventory and everyone in your party has their own inventory so you can really keep a ton of crap. And you have 120 quickslots, so that's nice. Anyway, I personally don't think it's that clunky, but Rob might be better qualified to discuss it as he is the professional game designer and all. I'm just a layman! (Laywoman? That sounds kind of naughty though.)

Hopefully there will be a copy of NWN2 under the Xmas tree for me. Maybe we can venture into the realm of multiplayer sometime after the first of the year.

Sweet! Looks like there will be plenty of us by Christmas time in there. Rob#2, Ardeo, Mal, myself and hopefully Beqx!!! That would be great fun.

Oh Christmas... why do you have to take so long?!
