What was even more stupid is the NCSoft page to change your password (once accounts were linked) allowed you to put any length password in and it accepted it, only for you to then login to GW and it wouldn't recognise it as it could only process a certain number of characters.

Scared me for a few minutes when I changed mine previously!

I assume this is also because the GW and GW2 account login is the same so it is probably more for security on the GW2 side.

now instead of using your social security number for a password you can instead use your credit card number with exp date.

I guess it allows you to use phrases rather than words if that was your preference.

nice cartoon amazed to read they only recognised the 1st 15 characters of the long passwords previously, feels like a British sitcom sketch.
