Which healing skill is better?

Which healing skill would be better for the Engineer? I have a Human/Engineer so it allows me to also have have the choice of DoB. Please take the tool belt skill into account as well!

Med Kit -> Bandage Self

or

Prayer to Dwayna -> Blessing of Dwayna

Just remember that in addition to the direct heal, Med Kits come with a new toolbar with three small heals, condition removal, fury, and speed buffs. That's a lot of utility in one healing skill slot.

I think my big question is what is average Maximum HP of an Engineer? Because the BoD heals for 40-50% of the Max HP. Because if the amounts are the same, then we are looking at the CD compairson, which Med Kit CD is 10s less then BoD. Which gives it more reason to use Med Kit over BoD...

It will vary based on traits. But to give you an idea, when I go into WvW and get pushed up to Lv80, I currently run at ~17,500HP with no points in traits that boost vitality. But I am in PvP gear that is +power and +vitality, for the most part.

Well based on that number and 45% mean for BoD, the BoD heal would be 7,875 HP. Thats like 85% more then the Med Kit stat on the Wiki. Errrr... personal well being dictates BoD being the better option it seems. Have to figure out party heals for PoD.

My favourite skill is the turret. Placing the turret and immediately picking it up gives good heals, and if placed and activated it makes a healing combo field that you can easily take advantage of.
