That tanks (WoT) game look interesting. Thanks Westie! Might have to give it a try if LoL keeps up with their crap. There servers we virtually down for 24 hours today because of mistake, after mistake, after mistake on their bug detections...

European servers have been perfectly fine everyday for the roughly 2 weeks I've been playing.

It is really good.

Well polished and some really nice touches like the cinematic cut scenes, the hub worlds and the variety in mission objectives. A lot of replayability with the research options, mission objectives and achievments. There are also challenges to do which help your tactics. Then the multiplayer and campaign editor which is also really good (although I'm pretty bad at the moment).

I've been working my way slowly through the campaign on Normal mode which is a bit easy really. I had one multiplayer game and hung on for a while but other than a rough build order idea I don't have any tactics yet and don't use hotkeys so I need to practise a lot and learn the tactics and skills before I expect to do better.
The AI in multiplayer are much better than the old SC so it is a decent challenge to practise with.

So yeah, awesome game.

Did they end up giving us LAN?

Would really be stupid if I have to play through battlenet if I'm only playing with Ivan.

It's a rigid anti-piracy barrier, I'll give them that!

I guess Blizzard assumes everyone that plays these games has internet (or a connection that can handle online gaming).

No LAN, everything is through BattleNet.

Hasn't stopped it being pirated though.

Yeah, it's just deathmatches at the moment, great fun, but with no real purpose. But the next Beta patch should introduce grouping, the game really has potential with the guild side of things.

Well, one big problem at the moment is that you are unable to send PM's in game

I'm in a clan at th moment, it's good but it doesn't quite match up to SOF levels of excellence But we do have voice coms and are arranging some clan wars next week. If anyone wants in, give me a PM on the WOT forum or here ( IGN Westie )

If anyone gets into the beta, ( should be free keys around somewhere if you google for them ) and wants to ask some questions, it can be daunting at first, PM me and I'll set up a chat channel ingame

Amazon.com:
Please note that the price of Final Fantasy XIII has decreased from $47.99 to $29.99 since you placed it in your Shopping Cart. Items in your cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on their product detail pages.
I guess it's not doing so well :/. Even a huge Final Fantasy fan like me is hesitating to buy it, I'm just buying it for the title tbh because the reviews I've read are very deterring. The only pro I keep seeing is "gorgeous graphics". Final Fantasy is so much more than graphics, it's about a compelling storyline that makes you love the cast of characters and believe their world is real and worth saving. I'm so disappointed in Square-Enix for failing with FFXIII and I haven't even played it yet .

one of my better games in world of tanks...I wish I had the premium account, I would have gotten close to 20K credits for that battle. It was on the map "Malinovka" We rushed the center...something that is usually associated with suicidal tendencies on that particular map Turned out very well in the end
